After occupying certain art venues in New York, a group from within the Occupy movement has been planning to inaugurate a space of their own, with the intention of featuring concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, and art classes. The plan is to utilize shared office space on Wall Street with other activist groups in order to keep the movement alive.

Occupy Wall Street already have had a number of installations on view in a few galleries and storefronts in New York. Interested to see what that looks like? Check out Bluestockings – an independent bookstore - on Allen Street, which currently holds an exhibition entitled “Occupied”.
