Art Monaco, the modern
and contemporary art fair by excellence of the French Riviera, is about to
present its fourth diamond edition. The event will be hosted at what is known
to be the “Playground for the Rich and Famous”. During four days, one of the
most prestigious convention centers in Europe, The Grimaldi Forum, will be
enriched with some of the most sought after and distinctive art of our times,
which will complement the beauty of Monaco and the breathtaking scenes that the
Principality is so well known for.
Art Monaco's official kick-off event will be presented at infamous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso's studio in Paris, on April 11th, where the new edition of Art Monaco Magazine and the new Barranquillarte magazine will been launched.
On April 25th, a VIP reception will allow collectors and social highlights to see and buy in avant-première some of the more than 4500 pieces of art gathered from over 35 countries. The soirée will be followed by three full days of vernissage-style exhibits, open to a selective public.

Johnessco Rodriguez, president and director of Opus-Eventi, is producing two shows simultaneously, one being Art Monaco 2013 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco and the other being Barranquillarte, in Barranquilla, Colombia. A cool-factor of this challenging operation is Mr. Rodriguez's idea to unify the continents through the creation of a new digital world exhibition that will open during the events and will stay open for the full following year. Those who will be unable to attend either Art Monaco or Barranquillarte will still have the opportunity to visit the exhibitions. By creating their own Avatar, visitors may view virtual booths and interact with other guests and exhibitors worldwide. This site will allow for potential buyers to obtain information and even make a purchase from the exhibition as if they were physically present. How contemporary!
